The new Gecko beacon light was specifically developed to structure operational scenes more clearly and to make responsibilities immediately recognizable at first glance. In complex situations involving multiple vehicles and different command levels, the Gecko ensures that roles such as incident command or sector command are clearly visible – without additional communication or delays.

The beacon uses a dual LED system with 24 red and 24 green LEDs (a total of 48 × 1-W LEDs). This allows different command functions to be displayed clearly using color coding. Red can be used, for example, to identify the incident commander, while green marks the sector commander. Both colors can also be operated simultaneously.

The Gecko can be used flexibly, as no permanent installation is required. Thanks to the magnetic base with suction function, the beacon can be positioned on the vehicle roof within seconds. Operation is via a 12/24-V vehicle plug, enabling quick and uncomplicated deployment – without drilling or internal vehicle wiring.

For reliable operation under real-world conditions, the Gecko features IP67 protection and is both dustproof and waterproof. Control is conveniently handled via the vehicle plug, which is equipped with separate switches for red and green as well as a clearly visible double-flash function.

The beacon is approved in accordance with ECE R10. With compact dimensions of 128 × 118 × 66 mm, it is also suitable for smaller vehicles. A 3.6-m cable provides sufficient flexibility for positioning.

The Gecko is therefore an ideal solution for command and response vehicles where clear visibility, flexible use, and robust design are essential.
